Modem(Modulator-Demodulator) : - Modem is a hardware Networking device which acts as bridge between ISP (Internet Service Provider ) to your LAN(Local Area Network) .It translates ISP(analog) Signal into Digit(0 or 1).

Router:-Router is a device that connect multiple device to a network and manage the traffic an acting as a traffic manager it also provide private IP to the devices. As many information from the name that it routes the signal coming from the modem and to direct it to which device.

Switch :-Swich is a hardware device that connects multiple devices with each other in a LAN and Intelligently forbid the relevant info according to the MAC address to the device for secure and efficient connections.

Hub:- HUB is a basic physical layer device that connects multiple devices in a LAN . With the help of the ethernet cable .It is also known as a Dumb device.

Firewall :- A firewall is a network security system available as a hardware software or cloud based it interrupt the untrusted network and Security lives here because of it acts as a gatekeeper between and first line defence against Cyber threats.
